Do you have a burden for missions?  You should.  All Christians should.  It is not a responsibility given only to those called to serve on a "foreign field."  We are all called to Go.  There are lost people all around us - and sadly in these times many don't even realize their need.

What is your mission field?  Maybe it is your workplace.  Maybe God has laid a burden on your heart for those in your dorm, or classroom.  Maybe it is a neighbor or family member.  Look around on any given day at the people we interact with.  Do they know what you know?  Do they realize their life on earth is just a glimpse of the eternity that lies ahead of them?  Do they know there is a God, and that He loves them and wants them for His own.

Just as you may have a burden for these souls, we share that same burden for the souls in Wales.  We understand the feeling that you get when you watch someone you know living their day-to-day without a clue about the choices they make and the eternity that awaits them.  We share that burden!

The field that God has laid before us in Wales.  However, we realize the human limitations when trying to reach this country.   We strongly rely not only on God for our direction and strength, but also the prayer and assistance of fellow laborers. There are several opportunities for you to get involved in this Welsh outreach!

Would you prayerfully consider...

Going?

Do you have a burden for missions?  All Christians should.  However, some are called to be prayer warriors, some are called on to help financially.  Then there are some who are called to go and serve.  Is that you?

Do you have a heart and calling for the people in Wales?  Has God been dealing in your heart about the need in Wales and asking you to take that first step of faith.  If so, we'd love to come along side and help you!

When Michelle and I first answered God's call to Wales, there were so many questions.  How, when and where were the big three that topped our list.  Once we took the spiritual steps of saying 'yes' to God -- we were lost on what tangible steps we needed to take next.

Looking back God sent so many folks to be a help and blessing during those first few months of planning, before we were even ready to announce God's calling.  God sent wise and patient folks who didn't mind answering our 101 questions.  We want to return that blessing to other families who feel this calling in their lives.

Do you feel God calling for service?  Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.  I'm always ready and willing to help in any way I can.

Praying?

Has God called you to be a prayer warrior?  Hundreds and thousands of missionaries across the world and throughout history have been held up by the power of prayer.  There is nothing more comforting to a missionary family than knowing there is an army of prayer warriors behind them.

Do not take this call of God lightly.  "The fervent and effectual prayer of the righteous availeth much."  I am still trying to grasp the depth of truth in that one small verse.

I would ask that you please remember the McPeters family when you are praying.  Please pray that we will be the witness we need to be both while on our deputation travels as well as the mission that God is preparing for us in Wales.

Better yet....Join our Prayer Team!  One can never have to many prayer warriors!

Giving?

One of the blessings that come from the pre-field deputation process is watching the Lord supply our needs.  Though not the most relished aspect of a missionary's responsibilities, deputation is a much needed process.  The financial support we gain will provide for our family's physical needs, allowing us to better focus on the spiritual needs of those we are called to serve.
