British academics claim it’s okay to kill newborns.

Medics should be able to kill newborn babies if they are disabled, too expensive or simply unwanted, according to an explosive article by two academics.

The article says that infanticide, the killing of newborn babies, should be “permissible in all the cases where abortion is, including cases where the newborn is not disabled”.

The report’s authors Dr Francesca Minerva and Dr Alberto Giubilini argue that “both fetuses and newborns do not have the same moral status as actual persons”.

It’s true!

Currently our family is financially at 30% of our goal to reach our field. That may seem a long way off from our needed support, but when you break it down to workable steps — we’re only a hop, skip and a jump away!

What do we need to get to the field? Let’s break it down by percentage. This is what we need to reach the 70% support we have left!

Half-Step

We are looking for 50 individuals/families to partner with us financially at $35 per month. This amount equals a half- percent in support funding!

Whole-Step

We are looking for 50 churches to partner with us financially at $70 per month. This amount equals exactly 1% of our support funding!

Once we have both 50/50 – we will reach our goal of 100%!

As I write this post, we are about 20 minutes from heading out to the First Baptist Church of Whitesville, West Virginia. Our bags are packed and we’re ready to go. I literally just wanted to get this prayer letter out before we hit the road. Please pray for our meeting this weekend that we would be sensitive to the Holy Spirit and His work and the Lord would be glorified.

Islam is the largest non-Christian faith in Wales? According to the most recent published census, Wales currently has 22,000 members within its borders. As of 2001, Wales had around 40 mosques total and more recently a college for training clerics was established in the town of Llanybydder.

What does that mean for our family? Well, in addition to learning more about the Welsh culture before we arrive in Wales, we’ll also be learning more about the Islamic faith and how to effectively reach out with the truth.

We are blessed to have neighbors here in the States who are on furlough from England. Their ministry focuses heavily in the Islamic culture of their city. I heard him ask a group of kids at a church one time how they think we are to treat the Muslims, when God allows are paths to cross. He then taught them this acronym:

I – I

S – Sincerely

L – Love

A – All

M – Muslims

Isn’t that the truth?!?! God loves them and wants to see them in heaven with Him. Who will tell them?? We cannot wait to get to the field and share with them the personal relationship possible with Jesus Christ.
